The World Beneath the Sink

This progressed over a couple of days, when I found time to sit and draw or was bored in class. Not sure what's in the cave. maybe that'll be the next drawing??

Fire To The Haystack

Congratulations to my friend Alex Thompson, who shocked everyone at his EP launch last night, of which I had the privilege of designing the artwork for. It was a great night, especially when he cut his suit off with a pair of scissors, and went shirtless with the leather pants underneath! ROCKSTAR!!!

More Coater Art

More coaster art from our lastest trivia night. We lost again, hence the slightly dark themes.

Right now, I'm talking to my friend Chenay in New Zealand.

Bio-degradable art

So I took my skills to new heights today and drew on a banana in class. Brings back memories of the copyright banana last year. Who would have thought that she spoke French!

More Coaster Art

So we went back for another pointless round of trivia, although I did get to draw on the back of my coaster. Loving the new artliner by the way.

A challenge from James

Was doodling at Change the other night, and what started as a man in a suit, became a roller blader, and finally a disco scene, after following a series of challenges from James.

Fast Food for Pirates

A napkin drawing, while at Babalou cafe in Kingscliffe for my birthday breakfast. Because pirates get hungry too!

New Pen!

I bought a couple of new art liner pens today, and here's a doodle that I did to test one of them out. He's a disproportionate body builder.

Cross Scene

Coaster Art

So I've stopped numbering the posts, as I'm clearly falling short of my one a day goal. Anyway, here is a sketch done on the back of a coaster at Brookie Pub tonight.

#31

Another church drawing, this is themed on the story of Don Quixote, who fought windmills, thinking they were giants.

Blurry photo of a concept sketch I did for a project I'm working on at the moment.

#29

Been getting back into anime and manga lately, so thought I'd start drawing some again. A taste of things to come I think.

Some digital illustrations- these are the teams we're putting the kids into at Jaffa Camp. Made them from scratch in Photoshop.

So 27 posts, and this is my first digital one. This is a theme screen I made for Imagine Nation's July curriculum

#24

Big nosed man climbing the cascading stairs. Drawn on a coffee cup in class after a night of very little sleep.

#23

I'm feeling a lot like the boy in the bubble lately. I need to get out of my Christian circle, and meet some people.

#22

Just a quick sketch of myself in the mirror

#16

So I'd left my car in Drive the other night by accident, and had work at 7.30am the next morning. Yesterday morning when it was about 7.27am, I rushed out to my car (still half asleep) only to find that my car wouldn't start. So I ended up using my flat mate's car all day before I finally tried mine again and realised it wasn't in Park. I'm such an idiot sometimes hehe

#15

Dragon Boy. He's a dragon, and he's a boy. Profound, I know. I think I might develop him as a character.

#14

A treasure map I drew with the kids at work today for a bit of fun. We used it to tell a story

#13

Double whammy today- doesn't really make up for all the days in between, but whatever. The colours aren't quite right in the photo, but this is the water colour I started about 2 weeks ago and never had the chance to finish until today.

#12

Drew this at church tonight- I was really restless. Turns out I listen better if I'm doing something.

#11

Got a photo for this one, cos I haven't been drawing so much. It was taken at the Manly fair Trade markets on Saturday.

So not technically my drawings, but they were done in my sketch book. Cheers Phil.

#10

So this should technically be #15, but whatever. Here's a pic I drew on Saturday, while watching my friend Zoe Elliot play in Manly. Check her out here. She's pretty darn talented.

Had the best chicken burger for lunch today in a little cafe I didn't even know existed. So good.

#8

And here's today's one, a blimp which I have had in my head for a few days now- finally on paper. I'm really happy with this, mostly because I actually spent some time on it, rather than just doodling something for the sake of this blog.

Haha it's only been a week and already I've been inconsistent. Oh well I'm a busy guy. Anyway here's a little sketch which I did in my notebook during Church while I was trying to stay awake hehe- I was really tired.

Just a bit of a scribble, done in the car with Dani and Scott on the way back from the city. Congrats on the graduation guys. Oh, and I finished a sketchbook, so I can now start my brand new one tomorrow!

Cheating a little bit, I didn't actually draw this today, but I haven't drawn anything today and didn't want to miss a post.

#4

So this was drawn at about 6.30 this morning, when I arrived at work thinking it was 7.30, due to some clock troubles on my phone. Turns out it's not actually dark at 6.30 like I thought it was when I woke up this morning. Oh well, early mornings are beautiful when you take the effort to experience them.

#3

Hehe, already slacking off. Anyway was a bit busy yesterday, so here's a little sketch I did at change last night. "Why swing if you can fly?"
